David Elkin, PhD. received his B.A. from Vanderbilt University, an Masters in Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary and his PhD from the University of Memphis. While at Memphis, he worked primarily with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. He is a faculty member at UMMC and specializes in child and adolescent behavioral disorders. Dr. Elkin enjoys ridiculously long runs.
Danny Daniel, LPC, LMFT earned his M.A. from Wesley Bible Seminary, as well as a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Mississippi College. He has over twenty years experience in treating adolescents, adults and families using individual, family and group therapy.
Thomas Elkin, PhD. studied clinical psychology at Fuller Graduate School of Theology. He completed residencies in Pediatrics and in Psychology with one year in a Child Psychiatry fellowship. Dr. Elkin recently published the book,Your Marriage Made In Heaven: Some Assembly Required.
Gloria Hardin, LCSW is a licensed psychotherapist with over 30 years experience helping children, adolescents and adults with a variety of emotional issues including depression, anxiety, relationship problems as well as child and adolescent behavioral problems. She trained and worked in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at UMMC for 30 years. She is a provider for Medicare, Medicaid and most private health insurances for mental health.
Sandra Gobbel, MEd. earned a B.S. from Baylor University and a Master's in Education in Psychometry from Mississippi College. She was employed by the Mississippi State Department of Education Learning Resource center for four years. Since 1994, she has provided contractual testing services for special education and gifted programs in various districts across Mississippi. She is a member of the national Association of Psychometrists and the Mississippi Association of Psychology in the Schools.
