ANNOUNCEMENT: To provide high quality care, with decreasing COVID case numbers and increasing vaccination rates, all future appointments will be in office beginning January 1, 2022. Routine telemedicine appointments will no longer be available. We remain conscious of the ongoing pandemic and retain our telehealth capabilities for a few, specific situations; however, these appointments will no longer be a routine option. This will allow us to provide the best care possible, monitor vital signs, and adhere to MS Board of Medicine requirement for urine drug screenings for certain medications.
Text message and e-mail reminders for appointments are available to help you, if you are not receiving these, please contact the clinic so we can assist you in setting up this service. The automated reminders only allow you to either confirm or cancel your appointment. Please remember, appointments cancelled within 24hrs of the appointment time are considered a “Last Minute Cancellation” and may incur a cancellation fee up to the amount of the full appointment fee. This applies to appointments cancelled via phone call or through the automated systems. We are also beginning to more heavily utilize a Patient Portal for communication, records management, billing, and many other functions; please contact us to activate your online Patient Portal.
Beginning January 2022, our self-pay rates for non-insurance patients will increase to $220 for New Patient Appointments and $115 for Follow-Up Appointments. This decision was not taken lightly and was made only after careful financial analysis. These costs, while increased, still remain below the average costs for similar services in the Southeast. In order to sustain our practice and provide high quality care to our patients, this change was necessary.
Finally, we will begin collecting insurance deductible amounts owed at the time of service. If you are unsure of the deductible amount required by your insurance plan, please contact your insurance carrier for more information.
